TripSitter collects account information, provider application details, profile content, photos, location information, messages, payment status, and basic usage data needed to operate the directory and lead system.
How We Use Information
We use information to create accounts, review provider applications, publish approved provider pages, process payments, support searches by location, deliver transactional email, prevent abuse, and improve the service.
Provider And User Visibility
Provider profile details may be visible to registered users after approval and activation. User account information is used to enable messaging, lead tracking, safety review, and support.
Messages And Leads
Messages between users and providers are stored so the service can deliver notifications, maintain conversation history, and record lead activity until both parties decide to continue outside TripSitter.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. TripSitter stores payment status and related identifiers, but does not store full card numbers.
Service Providers
We may use vendors such as hosting providers, Mailgun, Stripe, analytics, security, and operational tools to provide the service. These vendors may process information only as needed for their services.
Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide TripSitter, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.
