About

I am a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity development, and the search for deeper meaning and authenticity. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, community mental health, forensic evaluation, and integrative healing environments, supporting people through some of the most difficult and transformative periods of their lives. My approach is relational, psychodynamic, experiential, and deeply rooted in the belief that healing occurs within authentic human connection. I strive to create a space where individuals feel safe enough to explore not only their suffering, but also their resilience, creativity, spirituality, and capacity for growth. I am trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Integrative Harm Reduction Psychotherapy, MDMA-Assisted Therapy, and Psychedelic Therapy & Integration through Fluence. I am also a licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator in the state of Colorado. In addition, I am currently a candidate in psychoanalysis at the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, where I continue advanced training in depth-oriented and relational approaches to understanding the human mind. As a bilingual (English and Spanish) and bicultural psychologist, I am particularly attuned to the ways culture, family systems, immigration experiences, identity, and intergenerational trauma shape emotional life. My work is informed by a deep respect for the complexity of each individual's lived experience and the many factors that influence healing. I view psychedelic experiences not as cures in themselves, but as powerful opportunities to deepen self-understanding, reconnect with disowned or wounded aspects of oneself, and access experiences that may be difficult to reach through ordinary states of consciousness alone. Whether working in preparation, facilitation, integration, or ongoing psychotherapy, my goal is to help individuals make meaningful and lasting use of the insights that emerge from these experiences. My clinical work is especially informed by an interest in trauma, grief, attachment, developmental experiences, spirituality, and the unconscious processes that shape our lives and relationships. I believe that many forms of suffering arise from disconnection—from ourselves, our bodies, our communities, our histories, and our deeper sense of purpose. Healing often involves restoring those connections and developing a more compassionate relationship with ourselves. My work is guided by curiosity, humility, compassion, and respect for the innate wisdom that exists within every person. I consider it a privilege to accompany individuals as they navigate healing, transformation, and the ongoing process of becoming more fully themselves.
